Have your experienced intense feelings of anxiety? Are you struggling with depression? There is no shame in seeking professional help. After all, mental health is just as important as physical health.
Ann Cadogan Counselling and Psychotherapy offers counselling and psychotherapy service available for individuals and groups. I offer professional help for anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, parenting issues, relationship issues, sexual and gender identity issues and more.
I offer face to face counselling sessions, in addition to phone / Zoom sessions.
You don’t have to continue feeling this way, there is a better future for you. It can be overwhelming knowing where to turn when you are feeling low, so get in touch today to find out more about my counselling sessions, or to book your first consultation.
I have a counselling/ psychotherapy practice based in Duncannon, Co. Wexford and also work at Ford counselling and Psychotheray Centre, Wexford. I provide counselling and therapy for clients presenting with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, acute trauma, bereavement, suicide and relationship difficulties as well as work and exam related problems.
I work from a humanistic and integrative approach. In my work as a therapist I emphasise the importance of the therapeutic relationship, providing a supportive, confidential and secure setting for the exploration and development of deeper personal awareness. I believe this can be achieved through exploring feelings thereby helping my clients gain insight into their symptoms. This will support them to become aware of their options.
My thirty plus years’ experience as a teacher and Home School Liaison Coordinator in a post primary school setting has given me great insight to the underlying issues of concern to young people and their parents. I have been trained in Mentoring programmes as well as in Restorative Practice. I have mentored several young people over the years. I work as a Facilitator in the HSE Family Communications Programme, the Parents Plus Programme and I have facilitated Parents’ Groups in a community setting.
